 1. LUK.sk Archery Shop since 2008

 

• Since 2008, we have been the very first professional  retail archery shop in Slovakia, led by owner Ing. Michal Velčík, who has more than 33 years of experience in competitive sport archery (multiple-time Slovak champion in both target and hunting archery, European champion in 3D archery, and participant in numerous international archery seminars), A lot of experience setting up bows and their accessories, and 18 years of professional coaching within the ELÁN archery club. He has trained two Slovak national team representatives and has been coaching ELÁN club members since 2007.

 

• Customers purchasing a bow or crossbow are scheduled for a specific appointment, or we thoroughly consult their purchase by phone. This is one of the reasons why we have very few complaints or returns. The average in-store purchase of a bow or crossbow takes about 1–1.5 hours. We communicate individually and personally with every customer, striving to fully understand their needs—even remotely via phone. With every bow purchase, you receive expert advice and all necessary information regarding safety and proper use—this principle is our top priority. And if something doesn’t go as planned, we are only human and mistakes can happen, but we always do our best to resolve them as quickly as possible. Please note that archery products come from all over the world, and sometimes it may take longer to obtain specific components.

 

• We carefully select the right bow so that it always matches the archer’s needs. We aim to understand each customer’s expectations, then set up and prepare the bow for shooting, fine-tuning it together with the customer, including suitable arrows and accessories.

 

• You will receive a free basic shooting instruction session with every bow or crossbow purchase in our indoor hall (you may later choose to take a full archery course with a coach).

 

• You can also download a free comprehensive guide to shooting techniques (Sport Archery) from our website and learn proper archery technique based on a publication written by Ing. Michal Velčík.

 

• With every purchase of a bow or crossbow, you receive 1 hour of free shooting in our indoor archery range (part of the LUK.sk store).

 

• The shop includes a 20-meter indoor shooting range for bows and crossbows, with shooting distances of up to 27 meters for large 3D animal targets.
• Through our ELÁN archery club, we organize individual archery courses for both beginners and advanced shooters at the highest level in Slovakia, and for the longest duration among all clubs. These take place either at a professional outdoor archery range in Bernolákovo or in the indoor LUK.sk hall in Viničné (www.strelba.sk). We also organize archery competitions for archers.

 

• We provide guidance to both existing and new archery clubs and serve as a partner for equipment, development, and professional training leadership. We actively contribute to the development of archery in Slovakia.
