We are archers. Not just re-sellers.

We were born out of a love for archery. As the first professional retail archery shop in Slovakia, since 2008 we have been a place where passion meets expertise.

At the head of the store is Ing. Michal Velčík — a competitive archer, official archery coach, and author of the first comprehensive guide “Sport Archery in Slovakia”, originally from the village of Viničné. He has more than 33 years of active experience in sport archery, bow tuning, and 18 years of professional coaching within the ELÁN archery club. It all began when, in 2007, he founded the ELÁN archery club — a club where people come together who want to learn archery, compete, or simply fell in love with this royal sport and wish to improve continuously. This requires time, discipline, and above all motivation.

People also started contacting us because they wanted to try archery, as it was and still is very popular. That is why we began offering professional one-hour archery courses for the general public and created several packages, which you can find at www.strelba.sk.

After one year of running the club in Čierna Voda, so many people came to shoot and then searched for suitable bows, arrows, and equipment that coach Michal Velčík began sourcing them individually. He quickly realized it would be much better if everyone could personally choose, hold, and try their bow. At that time, there were no physical archery stores in Slovakia. So in 2008, he literally created the first warehouse in his garage and basement, where people from all over Slovakia came to buy bows and shortly afterwards also crossbows.

The original goal of the company was organizing team buildings and corporate events under the name HAVE FUN s.r.o. Later it expanded into retail, and this company name is still used today, although among archers the brand LUK.sk became established. After the first year, there was no other option than to invest in a larger space in a former agricultural cooperative in the village of Viničné. There, the first  retail archery shop in Slovakia was created, and we remain here to this day — just significantly larger.

At the beginning, the shop offered 3–4 types of bows, one crossbow, and 1–2 compound bows. Today, we stock 180 bow models and 60 crossbow models directly in our warehouse. Because of the high demand for archery in Slovakia, thousands of people came to us each year, and we could barely keep up. Our expertise grew, and so did our team.

In 2015 we expanded the store with additional warehouse space, and in 2016 we built a second floor of a large adjacent hall, which we transformed into a public archery range. Here, anyone can come and shoot bows, crossbows, and compound bows — not only at standard targets, but also at life-size animal targets simulating hunting scenarios. You can also play the action game Team archery/bow combat games, train during winter club sessions, or organize corporate events and team buildings for up to 30 people. These activities have been organized since 2014 by our second company HAVE FUN EVENTS s.r.o., specializing in team-building activities. Over 18 years, we have delivered more than 1,400 events across Slovakia, with over 80 original activities and attractions.

We also operate an official outdoor archery range in Bernolákovo, approved by the police since 2010, where we still train today and have organized more than 40 club competitions in various formats.

The people working in our store are now true archery specialists, allowing us to provide the highest level of professional advice. We are here for you — if you are interested in bows and crossbows, this is not just our job, it is our mission and passion.

We are not an e-shop that simply reships boxes. We are archers who understand what we sell — and we care about helping you shoot as well as possible.

More than 15,000 products physically in stock, 180+ bow and crossbow models, 60+ types of arrows. We can fully equip every archer — from beginners to competitive shooters. If something is not on the website, it is usually just not uploaded yet — but we can source almost anything available.

Every bow and crossbow is tuned and prepared for shooting before delivery. We select the correct arrows and accessories so the setup performs optimally.

3. Setup — We tune the bow, select proper arrows and accessories, and optimize performance.
4. Testing — You can test your new bow immediately in our 20m indoor range. 1 hour of shooting is free.
5. After-sales care — The purchase is just the beginning; we aim to build long-term relationships.

Range and courses

The store includes a 20-meter professional indoor archery range (up to 27 meters diagonally for large 3D targets), where we can immediately test your new bow. You can also come and shoot during opening hours.

Two-hour archery courses are available in our Bernolákovo range and in the LUK.sk indoor archery hall in Viničné. We organize individual courses for beginners and advanced archers at the highest level in Slovakia, as well as competitions several times per year.
